Yes! This workout is fully adjustable for ALL fitness levels. We have attendees of all fitness levels who enjoy our workouts, from the incredibly fit athletes who come and push all movements to the max as well as new attendees who are learning the movements, have never worked out on the sand before and are avoiding injury/protecting weak body areas. I offer modifications for all movements and when in doubt, you can do a step-touch, job in place, hold plank or any other movement that feels good to you.

Most attendees bring a towel for movements that require laying on the sand or planking/pushing up on the sand. If you have wrist issues, it is highly recommended that you bring a thicker foam mat (the size of a yoga mat) so you can have some stability without hyper-extending your wrists. Typical Yoga mats can be slippery so it is a good idea to bring a towel and a mat both so you can choose the best way to set up your space.

Allison Park near our 64th street location has a sizeable parking lot as well as a small lot across the street near the Mobil station. On weekends the lot fills up quickly. Plan to arrive early enough to find parking and walk to the beach.

No - please bring your own water, mat/towel, sunscreen and sweat towel. On weight training days we do provide a wagon of light dumbbells and/or bands to use during class.

You must fill out a waiver online before your class but everyone can participate for free! We suggest donations for recurring visits. If you are new to fit camp, arrive early enough to get a spot close to the coach so you can hear and see clearly what is being cued. If you’re coming late - no worries! You can set up and jump in, all movements are demonstrated as we go and all timing intervals cued verbally and visually.
